A friend, paint brush and sushi

A good friend helping is a wonderful thing. Wendy helped with painting today. If we’d really buckled down we would have accomplished more, but we found time for a coffee run and a wonderful lunch sushi break midst painting. I never would have stopped for those myself and it gave me the energy and helped me relax to keep on working until 10pm tonight. We started our day at about 8:45 when she arrived at my place, we loaded her SUV and the station wagon borrowed from Karen with boxes and went to the house. Yes, a good friend helping is a wonderful thing.

A good coat of paint is a wonderful thing too. Already the place is looking brighter and fresher. A little more painting to go and the bedrooms will be ready for furniture.
