Sunday… a day of refreshing

What a truly good day of refreshing despite a night of fitful *CHIRP* sleep. Nothing puts me in a good frame of mind for the next week better than the music, singing and the message delivered at church. Today it was about our attitudes. So true how our attitudes and make or break how we deal with things! The challenge of the day was the concept of treating people with grace–better than they deserve. Do I do that well? Does it count if I laugh at them instead of yell at them? Hmmm. Let’s just say “work in progress” here.

The afternoon was a perfect complement to the morning with some pointless leaf raking just to be out in the sun, a nice walk, a break for a soup party with a bunch of friends, and a few minutes of fussing over my new neighbor’s dog, browning.

My Monday will begin with a phone call to the Light and Power dept. They sent me the energy audit papers for my house at “3805 23rd Avenue.” Huh? I have no idea whose house that is–certainly not mine. As mixed up as they have been with my name and address, how is it they still get the bill to me every month at the correct address?
