How do you eat an elephant?

...right where we need to work in a few days! And, this was before the last truck arrived with all the crushed rock.

Oh goody, goody, goody, my garden soil, mulch, rock and firewood arrived! Oh phooey, the truck cannot fit through the gate to the backyard to make the delivery where I wanted it. Instead, I now have a small mountain range exactly where excavation is supposed to start on Monday or Tuesday. This is bad.

Instead of spending all Friday moving every last thing from the rental, I spent four hours shoveling and wheel-barrowing. By the way, my wonderful neighbor Bill who owns the motorcycle chopper shop across the street lent me the wheelbarrow. Though and reasonable person knows you eat an elephant one little bite at t time, the little bites were taking too long. By sundown I could see I would not be both moved AND have the mountains relocated so I called in reinforcements.

Two high-schoolers will be coming over at 9am this morning to handle mountain relocation and I have to catch up with moving everything and then all the cleaning.

Awesome helpers!!!
