Hello? Incompetence calling!

“Hi there, it’s now 12:40 and today between 12pm and 1pm your company promised to be here to pick up this broken door I have. I wanted to verify that your driver is in route and will be arriving in the next 20 minutes.”

“Oh, uuummmm, let me check. Can I have a tracking number?” …  “Thanks, let me check…”
(on hold 5 minutes)
” Ma’am, I apologize for the wait. I need to keep checking.”
(on hold 5 minutes)
“Ma’am, I’m still working on it.
(on hold 5 minutes)
“I gather that he isn’t getting here because I now must leave to get back to work and he didn’t drive up while you had me on hold.”
“No, his truck broke down today about 15 minutes away from your house.”
“And no one was willing to call and tell me not to bother taking this time off work waiting for your guy?”
“Well, you can’t expect them to always make their five-hour delivery windows.”
“I’m just really frustrated here. Your company has botched ever facet of every delivery from breaking the initial purchased item, having at least four product pick up tracking numbers issued but not doing it in over two week’s time, missing delivery windows and delivering the last item roughed up as they stripped all protective wrappings because they chose to use a vehicle too small for the delivery.”
“Ma’am, I’m sorry you feel that way but we have lots of very happy customers all over the country. You need to learn patience with people.”
“Apparently your customers have very low standards. I for one will be strongly advising up the ladder at Home Depot that they need to dump you guys for the sake of their reputation. Never-the-less, thank you for checking on the status of my pick-up.”
“You’re welcome. Have a great day!”

Ever want to whack someone over the head with a broken door???
