But I measured twice!!!
|How did THAT happen?
The windows of the old tear-down were good quality, clean and relatively new. When I drew the floor plan I incorporated two three-foot windows we already had. Somewhere along the line that got changed. There was this phone call I vaguely remembered where Troy told me the window openings on my floor plan did not match the windows I had available. Huh? He rattled off two dissimilar sizes and I remember saying that both windows were the same size. The reply was pretty clear that either I was nuts or had no business handling a tape measure.
So today I went to clean the windows for use. My stomach sank… My three-foot measurements were correct all along! Troy was looking at the wrong windows! The space he made in the garage perfectly fits the damaged window from the bathroom–the one destined for the dump. What to do? Looks like while I have ample good quality, useful windows I may have to go buy one.
Measuring twice in this case didn’t help me one lick.
