Art & Wine
|I had a wonderful show at Weichert’s on Main Street in Forest Grove. Thank you to all who came out. I was just delighted to know a few pieces of my work migrated home with a winemaker from Ashland, OR and another found a home with a fellow artist I deeply appreciate. As an artist, part of the magic is learning what rang a true note with someone in a piece of art and seeing that art off to a good new home.
Labor Day marks the beginning of a very special art showing for me– The Styring Vineyards Wine Cottage in downtown Carlton, Oregon. Those who come into town from the north knows that first right-angle turn as you enter the downtown district. At that turn, look immediately to your right and you’ll see a series of adorable cottages. One houses a professional service business, one houses a cool, funky antique shop and the one on the corner houses family and staff of the amazing Styring Vineyards and their wonderful wines. They are open weekends and my art will grace the walls thru Thanksgiving. We’ll have a great reception evening coming up–I’ll let you know the date when we plan it.
