Squirrel!
The summer has flown past…travels have come and gone…and where have my trip posts been?
In my trips immediately after our fantastic Canyonlands adventure I repeatedly found my camera memory cards blank after I’d taken hundreds of adventure photos. In the end, it seemed to be a portable card reader I used. Instead of it downloading images to my computer, it simply deleted the images upon inserting the card. Once that was discovered, I quarantined those media cards and went about finding reliable un-delete software. I was able to recover many of the images. At that point, I was at least a dozen excursions behind. Then, the purist in me wanted to start at the beginning of those travels and one-by-one, catch up to current day, rather than pick up where I am and add an old adventure on occasion as time permitted.
So now the rains have begun. Hard to believe the squishy ground is setting in so early…it’s only Oct 5.
My summer adventures may simply be a handful of photos from each outing.
