Cone Peak & Iron Mountain

Mini trip report–visited Iron Mountain and Cone Peak on Sat, June 1. LOTS of trillium and avalanche lilies in bloom, a few bleeding hearts. A few patches of snow but not significant obstacles. Greatest snow was just before the observation deck at the top of Iron Mountain. Shade of the forested areas was very welcomed as the afternoon wore on.
