YouTube for Dummies

YouTube really is a wonderful thing. Don’t know how to do something or need someone to help you visualize what you need to do? Check YouTube. Not sure the terminology of different pieces and parts to accomplish the job? Go to YouTube and someone’s got a video of the parts and they tell you the names as they point to them.

Really, it’s quite a useful tool. Many jobs in life really aren’t that difficult if someone will simply show you how and there it is right there. Whether you need to be shown the right tool to crimp PEX fittings, or *gasp* how to change a baby’s diaper, it’s there. I once changed out my car’s radiator with a combination of a YouTube video and Chilton’s guide. It just take a little trepidation to believe you’ll accomplish something you’ve never tried before. OK, or maybe there’s a splash of “ignorant bliss” thrown in there too.
