My work is cut out for me… back fill the garage while Troy is away. How do you eat an elephant? One little bite at a time!
Sunday evening: Brenda uses the pea gravel to start the landbridge to the mid-garage dirt island. All the neighbor kids wanted to help, even down to the sweet little sister who brought out her tiny beach pail and shovel to get to work.
Objective is to fill the garage interior to eight inches below the top of the concrete…one little bite at a time!!!
Monday evening: progress moving faster with Joe’s help.
Tuesday morning: hey, we put a good dent in the work last night!
Brenda was back at it Tuesday night…now there is a layer of dirt added around the entire interior of the garage. Ok, rain, come on and do your thing and well add more dirt on top!
