The shape of things…

The first signs of interior walls are appearing….the pencil markings on the floor and bottom pieces that map out corners and walls. I’ll let the pictures and captions do the talking…

Here we are standing in the entry way from the kitchen of the house and looking toward the doorway into the garage. The utility hall is a corridor around the right side of the image. It’s 5 ft. wide where we are standing and is about 4 foot wide at the garage door. It angles at the corner to allow space to pass by the washer and dryer. The boxed in area you see will be the master closet. You’ll access that from the back interior of the master bath which is mapped out at the bottom left of the image.

Now we’re standing inside the master closet and looking across the master bath. In the bath, the shower will be to the left and the sink/toilet out of view to the right. The rest of the space mapped off by the exterior (french door) opening will be the master bedroom. It is about 14 feet wide and on the left side, 12 feet long, and on the right, 15 feet long. The french doors will open out onto a landing and a couple steps down to the patio. Yes, that’s a cathedral ceiling. I love the feeling of open space!
