Project in mirror are larger than they appear.

So Troy and I have a little joke of sorts. It starts when he arrives on-site at about 7 or 8 a.m. He’ll take a few measurements, we’ll chat about progress a moment, then at times he’ll say a buddy of his asked for his help on some little project that should only take an hour or two. I’ve learned that whenever this happens, I won’t see Troy for the rest of the day. We can laugh about it… he’s a big-hearted guy and really, the bank has more of my project hung up at the moment than Troy does.

The other morning began this way. He didn’t appear after his two-hour job until late afternoon and was continuing that little project for a while the next day too.
